I've taken a three month long T break before. Had about three good highs before back to normal. If I wait a week I can get one good high. I think a lot of it is in my head. I'm just too used to the feeling for it to be fun in repetition.

Hence why it is considered a gateway drug. It's all great at first and after awhile you get used to it and it is not enough.

The key is to not make it redefine the word fun. In my experience, people who can have just as much fun sober as they are high are better people to be around. Basically i am saying do not let drug use define you.

I have done enough drugs in my time here so i am not claiming innocence. I have seen many friends ruin their lives to drugs and take no responsibility for their own actions. If you can do your thing and still function as a being and get stuff done, go to work, get bills paid, by all means alter your mind if you want. If you find that stuff starts slipping because of your using then you need to reevaluate you use.

With all that being said, i was always a fan of any upper. I was also a big fan pain killers. I mostly just drink now but cause its readily available anywhere.

Fuck me for this, but my life has become better after I switched from smoking everyday to drinking 3-6 beers a day

And I no longer get blackout drunk at parties

Plus I have 200% more motivation and ambition at work

I stopped weed recently cause of college and all that but in the four years I smoked I never found it boring idk how you can man. I loved breakin up my bud, packin a bowl, listening to some good 'ol music, and just sitting on the front porch every night reflecting on life and that type of shit.

What you described is almost precisely how I felt with it at first. Slowly the ritual lost its charm, it almost feels like a chore now. I don't pay attention music anymore, I just get caught up in researching silly ideas that fizzle out in moments. I can't finish TV shows. Video games feel hollow and pointless. I eat food without savoring it. I look at a lot of porn. Seems like it's all my fault for being too overindulgent.
