Friday was my first night drinking after a sober month, so I go out to my normal club to socialise and catch up with everyone
Qt girl who I've had drunk chats with a few times comes up
"Hey Anon, I haven't seen you in ages, are you and your lady still together?"
"Nah we broke up about a week ago"
She sits on my lap and shit
Chat for a bit then say "I gotta head off, work tomorrow. But I'm going to be going really hard tomorrow to make up for lost time, want to drop some pills with me?"
"I'd love to"
Meet her out Saturday night, I take 3 because I'm a dickhead and forgot how low my tolerance would be after none for a month
We get separated because we were both fucked, but she messages me asking to go to another club
I can't figure out how Facebook works and my hands were shaking like crazy, and I end up accidentally spamming a bunch of love heart emojis, but she thinks it's cute
Here's where shit goes south
My two housemates are engaged, and the dude is out of town for the weekend
I get a call from him saying to get to the nearest bridge and call the police immediately because his fiancé was about to kill herself
I immediately leave the club and start sprinting, calling the cops on the way
Qt calls me because she can't type either, and I explain the situation, kind of in hysterics
Housemate wasn't at the bridge so I keep running until I get home
She's there, and I sit and hold her for a couple of hours until the attack passed and I put her to bed
Im still fucked out of my mind and want to keep dancing, so I get a taxi back to the club
Just as I get there Qt messages me
"Sorry just saw my ex and I can't handle being anywhere around him right now, so I'm heading home"
I decide to keep drinking for a bit, black out and wake up in a carpark
Stumble home, sleep all day and message Qt apologising that shit got out of hand
She said it was fine and she still had a good night but seemed kind of distant and I'm worried I scared her off

You did the right thing considering the circumstances. Now, get your shit together. You will not find lasting love with a woman who sits in laps at parties and casually takes drugs. If you are only trying to hit and quit then proceed but stop being a retard sooner than later

You seem like a wild dude. Wild dudes will always be told by other people to find a calm girlfriend. But such a person will never match them and such relationships are bound to fail.
While I don't know either of you and therefore can't say anything about your compatibility, the anon you replied to might just be wrong. It can work out in the long run, but if it does, it will be one hell of a ride. You must be prepared for that.
As to your actions of that night, I think noone can blame you for anything you did. I think you reacted perfectly, especially counting the condition you were in. Any reservations from the girls side might be due to stuff mentioned before or maybe her feeling your life is a bit too much for her right now. (Did she know about your housemates before this?)

The original plan was just to hit and quit because I'm still in love with my ex (breakup was her decision, out of nowhere) but we hit it off really well and I kind of like the idea of it being more, and casual sex hasn't really been helping and I think that might
She knew a little bit about the housemates
I actually spent the first half of the night with the girl housemate because she was pretty down and we all hung out together for a bit, and they got on pretty well too (it was probably an hour after she left that I got the call)
(I told Qt way in advance that I had plans with her earlier and that she was engaged and everything)
