If you were to interact with someone either thought work or casually in passing and then yo noticed they smelled like marijuana what would you think?
I'm not talking about a 18 year old with dreads and pot leaf t-shirt. Just a regular person, say a car dealer or an accountant.
the same way i look at people who drink occasionally: completely normal.

Depends on the situation but as the previous guy said similar to alcohol
If in a work or professional environment I'd assume the guys a lazy fuck that can't stop smoking at work
Otherwise who gives a fuck

If you were interacting with a car dealer or accountant that smelled like booze at work or in public, would you think that was normal?
You didn't read the question.

Doesn't matter to me if he smokes on his off time, but their professionalism is deeply lacking if they constantly walk around smelling like weed. For the same reasons as smelling like alcohol even if they aren't wearing a Jack Daniel's t-shirt.
I'd view him/her much less negatively for smelling like weed (on the job) than if he/she smelled like booze (on the job).
A lot of people self-medicate with weed and it's much easier function while high than when drunk.
depends on the job
white collar it's unprofessional and i wouldn't trust him
blue collar it's okay because he might have pain plus it's boring work
etc
I said interacting. I didn't say at work
