Is it shitty to just leach off your parents through college?
I worked full time over every holiday break and even with that and scholarships it's not enough to get me through the semester. I decided to get a job this year but I'm already feeling burnt out not even a month into the semester. My grades are also taking a notable dip. I'm an only child with two middle class working parents and they've offered to help out and make it seem like it's not that much of an issue. I feel bad when most people have to work their way through college and I don't necessarily have to.
they're good parents, so dont feel guilty about taking their help
and dont feel guilty about being in a better financial position than others
if your grades taking a notable dip is really bugging you, find a tutor, or study harder
if u rly dont care about college, drop out and pursue a career through certifications

Nothing is wrong with it my dude. If they're offering the help, take it. Worry about your education and make sure you call your parents more often and make some efforts to visit them to repay their efforts. They love you and want to help you.

They're your parents. They want to help you. Just ask them if you're gonna be a financial burden on them thou. Might help your conscience.

No. Clearly, you need the education.

Its their responsibility to ensure that you can study since they created you and it's necessary for a decent lifestyle

not in this day & age, and not if you're not making their living situation shit, or generally being shitty to the household.
