If you're living at home and depending on your parents financially, I think you owe it to them to not be an ass to them. Arguments are a two-way street, you're not blameless for the fact that they occur. If you continue to live at home, you need to do your part to make living there more tolerable for all of you, otherwise they'll be more inclined to kick your ass out.
