Just started uni. How do I make friends?
Classes are lectuers. I come in, leave. No room for chit chat. Everyone else just goes about their day. No room to really meet anyone.
I've been at uni for 3 years and not made a single friend. Made acquaintances, people I know, people I can talk to, people I can study with, but no friends.
Fuck man, please go make some friends, don't turn out like me. I'd offer advice but it's obviously worthless coming from someone who doesn't have any friends.
Join societies, sports clubs. Just talk to people in your lectures and seminars before they start.

Also to you, man, it's very rare to actually be friends with someone. Basically everyone who calls themselves friends are just acquaintances and use each other to make it look like they're popular. You're not doing things the wrong way.

4th year here, same story.
Go to every single campus event you can find, especially the ones aimed at freshmen. Don't make my mistake OP.
If your school actually has student organizations, unlike mine, then join them. Any of them. All of them. Even this shit you have zero interest in.

Idk I don't think it's normal to not ever have anyone hang out with you one on one or outside a school setting. Most people have someone they can go get a drink with, or just sit around and chill with, or see a movie with.
I don't think the people who I only see in class and the only conversations I have with are about that class, are friends.

Welp, life changes in that stage of your life, so don't worry. >>17568917 This guy is right, and it's very normal. You are going to have more likely 1, 2 or 3 friend, and that's it. More than that sucks.
