Am I the only one feeling nearly suicidal over vidya? Is that pathetic? Thanks to annoying players and my parents, I went from rating 2311 to rating 1745 in overwatch. This was the only form of pride I had in life recently after graduating. Mayve I should join the army?

High school. What I wanna know is if it's pathetic that I'm doing it for this. I already punched myself in the face and banged my head a few times outta despair. This was the next logical step

I wouldnt say its exactly pathetic but, its not normal. At your age you should be socialising and getting a part time job and studying. Not beating yourself up because of a video game.
Try talking to a school therapist...

I do have a girlfriend, but my friends went their separate ways after graduation. I applied to colleges and I got no acceptance or denial. I applied to 30 jobs and got nothing
I was talking to my friend about this last night, it's his 30th birthday today. I told him he needs to find something to invest in himself. Video games are a time sink. I played as much as any other dweeb during the 00's , but one day I unplugged my shit for a month and I can honestly say I had never been happier. It's surprisingly efficient, stopping for a short time like that really does give you perspective. It's not like you can't play video games ever, but they certainly lose their strangle hold on you.
I told him that in 10 years, they're going to shut down his WoW account and he'll have nothing to show for 20 years of effort. However, it only takes 40 hours to get good at something. You've spent more than 40 hours on games you don't even remember, I bet.
Learn guitar, learn to draw, take a local course for something you're interested in, pick up a martial art. Personally, I discovered I'm a gym rat, and got into the workout scene.

Also, you're right out of high school. I fucking wish I quit video games right out of high school.
You got the whole fucking world in front of you, kiddo. You just have to /want/ to take it.
