Hey /adv/, 21 year old here.
Is it wrong, if I enjoy depressive stuff like music (mostly black metal), films and shows? I'm not depressed myself, but I like watching stuff like that, it makes me happy.
Is that wrong? Do I need help? Thanks in advance.

Didn't go through the edgy phase as a teen I see. Fenriz would call you a fag.

Fenriz and Nocturno haven't made anything half decent compared to their older stuff, so he can go fuck himself.
I'm not even that edgy, tbqh. I'm not your "hurr durr only metal is music" faggot and I am really versatile when it comes to music, but I just enjoy depressive stuff from time to time. I don't know why it makes me happy, but it does. I never cut myself, nor do I post "deep" philosophical bullshit on social media.

Help I'm still stuck in that phase at 23

Explore other genres of music, learn to dress normally, get a haircut, go to school, stop being edgy and if you have to be edgy don't let other people see. Learn that there is better food out there than cola and cheetos for dinner. Work out.
Not wrong, but it can fuck you up.

Watch an anime called "Texhnolyze" or some shit. It's just non-stop depressing all the way through then the final episode is like a nail through your brain. It's good shit if you can tolerate anime without getting scared of being a weeb.
I'm the same, I love hearing about depressed people's problems and how they hate the world and life, yet I'm almost totally happy and content myself. I even go for depressed girls because they're so......... enticing? Like 90% cocoa chocolate or something.

Oh shit nvm, looks like I had a different definition of edgy in my head

It's called catharsis.
Not really that unusual.
