I've gone to all their rush events, guys seem to be warming up to me, even one of the guys that seemed distant at first is acting pretty cool around me

Rush week is for the brothers to get to know you and make sure you're not too autistic. Just don't spill the spaghetti yet.
The whole point is for you to be out of the loop for a while especially during pledgeship. But showing you cared was a solid move.
Just keep meeting brothers and potential fellow pledge brothers. It'll be good. If they didn't want you out they wouldn't contact you.
Remember it's a 2-way street even if it doesn't seem like it. They want new members just as much as you want to be a member.

This wasn't an invite only thing it was on their card, they just didn't say to wear the clothes
For all I know they had a bunch of rushes show up that didn't have the clothes and they are slapping themselves right now
