Why women become prostitutes. Because they are nimfomaniacs?
>>
>>17542834

Because it brings in decent money, there's plenty of men are very willing to pay for sex so the market is good and because it's usually not the worst job out there. It's mostly just good business probably.
>>
>>17542834
Because it is a way to make good and easy money.
>>
>>17542841
>>17542839

These. Depending on where you live, you can net $100,000 tax free as a professional whore.
>>
>>17542834
nymphomaniacs

Not all of them are, but most of them basically are.

Most women turn to prostitution because it's easy money. Some get off on the power they have over men, like, "Oh, you want to lick my breasts? That will be another 20. If you want to fuck me that'll be 100 extra"
>>
>>17542839
This. Honestly it's stereotypical but true, most women who go into some sort of sex related job, stripping, porn, prostitution, is usually after hitting some point of being desperate for cash. Very few start from the beginning wanting that to be their job, but I do find that once they start some of them actually find they enjoy it.
Though this is mostly with stripping. I've known a few people who did the stereotypical "strip to get through college" thing, but what started as an act of desperation turned into a job they actually enjoyed.

Honestly, the ONLY thing keeping me from getting into the stripping/camwhore business is the fact I'm going into education and no parent likes to find out that their kid's teacher is an ex stripper.
That and I'm not all that attractive so idk how much money I could even pull to begin with. But I don't think it's a bad gig or morally wrong or anything.

Prostitution, if legalized, I would feel similarly about though too. My only concern would be the safety of it you know? But if it were legalized I'd hope it would come with regulation to ensure you aren't passing disease left and right with no regard.

are all you guys fucking retarded? you dont believe trafficking exists or what?
>>
>>17542999
I was under the impression it was implied with "why do women become prostitutes" that meant it was their choice to do so.
I thought the implied question was "why do women choose to be prostitutes".
Of course there are people who are forced into it, but what the fuck's your question then? Why are women forced into it?
Because they are. Because they had shit parents. Because they had a shit life themselves and got messed up with the wrong people.
>>
>>17542999
Trafficking exists, sure, and it's 99% of the time against their will. But that's different from being your own boss and deciding that you don't want to work a normal job. If I had never met the man of my dreams, I'd definitely do something like this as a side job.
>>
Most of them are desperate for money (usually to feed an addiction) and get stuck in that life.

Watch any documentary on women in the sex industry and most of them hate it and themselves.

They are just an empty shell of a human after a certain point.
>>
>>17542834
if you mean willingly it's because it's easy and because they don't really value themselves or the act of sex
>>
>>17543122
You're watching "documentaries" that are 100% biased and distort the truth.

Think about all the countries with legal prostitution. They have far less problems with human trafficking than Burgerland.
>>
Because they value money more than their dignity.
Posted on the wrong thread before...
>>
>>17542834
I think it's more that they want money than the sex.
>>
Usually things like being from an abusive home, running away and ending up prostituting themselves to survive.
Or they have a drug addiction.
Many have mental problems.

If you think they're just women who love sex and money you're an idiot.
>>
>>17542834
because you can makes thousands of dollars a week with relatively little effort and low skill cap, that's the biggest reason.

Some do it because they legitimately were forced into it or had no choice.

Some do it because they are just fucking kinky or fucked in the head.
>>
>>17543130

>You're watching "documentaries" that are 100% biased and distort the truth.

I didn't even tell you what ones I have watched.

>Think about all the countries with legal prostitution. They have far less problems with human trafficking than Burgerland.

Wtf does that have to do with my post? I was obviously talking about women who get into it voluntarily and I said sex industry not just prostitution.
>>
>>17543130
Don't think for a second that legalization removes trafficking completely, tho.
It just makes it less appealing, and removes the monopoly of the traffickers - the smart ones will then move to the next rich country that didn't legalize, but some will keep at it.
>>
In all but the few poorest countries, girls (and guys) do not go into prostitution to feed themselves. They do it so they can get a new shiny iPhone and whatever else is fashionable.
>>
Let's say you charge 120€ for 1 hour. That's a middling going rate where I live.

Now say you have 3 guests a day. That's 3 hours. Add to that preparation like showering and makeup, and possibly the time travelling to and from the location (unless you receive guests at your own location). That's another 3 hours at most.

That's 360€ for 6 hours of work.

Now do that maybe 4 days a week.
That's 1440€ a week.

If you're self-employed you only have to subtract stuff like condoms, makeup and maybe gasoline. If you're with an agency and they get like a 40% cut of your earnings, that's still 864€ a week for very little work.

All assuming you do this where it's legal and regulated.
>>
>>17542996
I wish there were more people who thought like you. I love strippers and I love prostitutes. Men like me aren't meant for romantic relationships so the above are my only avenues to get some touch from the fairer sex. I hate having to hide it and be worried about Johnny Law busting down my door for it. I'm not hurting anyone yet I would be vilified for liking what I do. I have no problem with women becoming strippers or prostitutes as long as they keep themselves safe.
>>
No. Nymphos almost never last in prostitution, they might stick with it for a while but they quit eventually.

It's usually one of three reasons:

1. Drug habit
2. Kid(s) to support
3. College to pay for

Occasionally you get the entrepreneur type, but they usually become madams at some point.
>>
>>17542834
easy money
duh
>>
>>17543207
Again, only in America.
>>
>>17543203
>Let's say you charge 120€ for 1 hour.
Where I live (Chicago), it's $200 for a half hour.
>>
>>17542999
The question implies that OP wanted to know why women would choose to become prostitutes of their own free will.
>>
I hear similar things in this thread but attractive prostitutes can easily make 500 a day for a for a few hours of sex with businessmen

You can bet your ass I would if I was an attractive woman without career prospects

some people have different values and some women are forced into it and some women aren't high paid because theyre ugly or addicted or whatever but there is some serious business to be made just on your own despite what the virgins on /adv/ will tell you

superfreakonomics has a good chapter on it somewhere, read that
here's an article to the same effect
http://abcnews.go.com/2020/superfreakonomics-prostitutions-perks/story?id=8844755

All the people saying it's horrible are talking about the ones who have to do it for money rather than choose to do it for a shitton of money

Sounds legit Mr. Slickback

3 reasons why women sell themselves for easy money.
- They need money for drugs or their pimp.
- They realize it's easier then working as a waitress or fastfood chain for good cash while paying college
- They are single moms that still have a tight enough body after 1 or more kids.

don't judge a book by its title, as they say

You are so narrow minded that a Wookie is trying to fasten plumbing to your walls so he doesn't get crushed.
>>
>>17543286 where do you find them
200-300
>>
>>17542834
All women are by nature sluts.

>Inb4 /r9k leak

Some idiots here will come up with excuses but we all know deep down all these sorry excuses of human beings don't want to work like everyone else. What's easier, stripping or having stranger cock several times a day which will net them a fortune in a short time? Or get up everyday to some fixed schedule and paycheck?
>>
>>17543643
ah I can see r9k is leaking
a bit of /pol/ in there too, very nice
