My friends going away party is coming up because he's moving out of state. I haven't seen my friend in over a year but used to work with him and chill with him regularly. The party is going to be at a sports bar that we used to work at. I'm pretty sure its just gonna be all bros with a handful of their girlfriends

But I just found out that this crazy show is coming through town that same day. Theres probly gonna be tons of hot chicks there and heavy bass music. I need to stay off drugs for awhile but I think I can go and have a couple drinks or be sober and have a blast.

I want to go to this show but I also don't want to disappoint my friend for not coming. Lots of people are coming to his party so I'm sure I won't be missed that much but it'd be nice to send him off.

What do?

I work 3rd shift 6 days a week and he works at a restaurant 7 days a week. The last time I saw him he was at my parents christmas party, its not like we're not friends
