For me personally I usually masturbate at least once a day, if given the opportunity. So maybe around 3 to 2 times a week? Sometimes I've went through not masturbating for a week and then when I went back to it, it felt waay better than repeatedly doing it 2 days in a row.
I think it helps if you give yourself a break, to regain that sensitivity.
