How can I become more pollitcally correct at work?
apparently my main problem at work is that I'm too blunt, ie i'll say that "[this idea] is not good" when it is, instead of praising shit tier ideas and retarded things.
The issue is that sometimes I'll be able to fake it and be hypocritical for a while, then as Larry David I'll relapse and I *will* have to say what's on my mind if the discussion continues on.

How do other people do it? Like, I don't understand how you can not speak your mind and not become frustrated as fuck with your work

There's nothing wrong with criticism as long as your delivery is polite enough and it's constructive. Instead of telling someone their idea is shit, suggest how to improve it or point out where its problems are. It's okay to be blunt, not okay to be a complete asshole about it.

I don't even know when / if I'm an asshole when talking though.
The thing is, I feel like I'm pretty anxious and worry easily so someone propose an idea I'll immediately think about how it could go wrong, then I'll point it out "if you are in this situation, then this won't work" etc

Apparently this annoys people but at the same time I feel like I'm right and saving everyone time and money in the long run

If it's only ever negative commentary, people might have developed a negative impression of you over time. Offer positive comments as well or improvement ideas to balance it out. Also, take notice of your delivery: are you truly criticizing just the idea or do you appear condescending towards the person whose idea it is, as well? If you start with something like "I think you're onto something here, but..." people won't take it quite so personally, because you sorta also complemented them.

Word selection. Be empathetic.
Not everyone is a logician.

Best of luck.

My company mandated training actually gave me a useful piece of advice. If you have to criticize, focus on the idea and not the person doing it. Also, instead of pointing out flaws, ask how they would deal with so and so problem and how it could improve. This shows people holes in their logic, but gives you the appearance that you trust them enough to have thought through it and are just clarifying.

One important thing to remember is, you're not the smartest person in the room. If an idea isn't good, and you don't have the data to back it up (specifics depend on job), you might just be as wrong.
