There was a girl that we had been having some music lessons for about 2 years, 3 years ago. She was always warm and friendly to me, so was I.
A year ago, I ran into her while heading back home from some shit, and she stopped me to greet me. At first, I didn't recognize her, she had changed so much. We had a small talk, and then she left because she was in a hurry.
I opened up a normiebook account a while back, and added her as a friend a while ago. I saw her in public the other day, but I was too far away/didn't see me, so we didn't interact or anything. Since then, I keep thinking about her.
Should I ever consider texting her hoping to go out sometime or is it worthless/will be stupid to text her out of fucking nowhere?
Yes, you should consider it if you want it. Just hit her up on facebook, make a little small talk and ask her out. To catch up or something, whatever.
You have nothing to lose by trying.

I do want it.
The thing is that I don't want the conversation to be derailed by trivial subjects, I just want it to be short and straight forward, we can talk about the rest if we go out.
Any advice on this?

Shit man, I can't tell you what you're going to talk to her. If you want to be forward just say "hi", tell her you were glad to meet her again, or something like that, wait for her to say "me too" and then ask her out.

That was a year or so ago, so, probably no.
I'll just a hey or something and see what happens.
Wish me luck.

DO IT. I asked the same question here about 4 weeks ago, i'd met a girl twice, thought i wouldn't see her again, i asked adv if it was a good idea or not to add her on facebook. I did, turns out she'd got a temp job and was busy, we hit it off, met up a few times, and now we're dating.
You'll regret it if you don't OP.
