Hi 4chan. I am going into my senior year of high school and I am so overwhelmed with all this college stuff. I have recently met with my guidance counselor and she helped me immensely. However, my parents want me to go to a community college even though my GPA and SAT score are good enough for 4 year colleges here.I try explaining that I want to push myself and actually make a name for myself. Being a first generation latino means that I can achieve much more than what the social norm expects. And that's what I want to do, but my parents just don't understand that. Is there a way I can convince my parents that I can achieve so much more if they just trust me. Please help.

Simple. Just show them that you can achieve so much this year, just start signing up for 4 year colleges and shit, but make sure to show your parents that you can make it in life

Being poor is the best for going to college because the fuckers get the best federal aid. They get all the fucking grants and work studies they god damn want!!. BUILD THE FUCKING WALL!!!!
