Communication is more than what people speak. It's a lot more complex and involves things like body language. If you start 'calling people out' on communicating in a more complex way than you can handle, you're just going to alienate yourself.

not everybody can read social cues. not every place has the same meanings of body languages and hints. and not everybody deliberately expresses them. those are mainly why I find this topic irritating. don't like making presumptions of people I don't know, nor do I like seeing other people make presumptions of others. which is a mistake often committed when trying to communicate through just body language alone. the concept isn't universal and doesn't translate to everybody or everywhere. a big reason why it's pretty rude.

If it's someone you know, communication through body language and cues should be completely acceptable and expected. If it's someone you don't know or have just met, then that's really disrespectful and a slap to the face.
