I felt like I just ruined a married couple's relationship unintentionally through cultural misunderstandings. Made this 17505108 thread here a few days ago.
The run down of what happened was that ultimately my host father thought (and probably still thinks) that I cheated with his wife. I have been blocked by the both of them. I don't know what has been going on, but they seem to have returned back to their appropriated schedule to meet need's end for the time being. I was able to contact one of their sons and he has been very open and understanding, and has answered some questions to the best of his ability that were bothering me a lot. He also told me that his mother would contact me again "in a while," so now that is the only thing I have to look forward to in terms of getting closure on this. He has assured me that no violence has occurred nor will they get a divorce, which is a relief (no violence is honestly the biggest relief) ...
I've been back not so long, so my English skill has dropped a little as it would when you immerse yourself in another language, and also I've been tired as of late, so please do excuse my use of words―or lack there of―and sentence and/or paragraph structure.
This is really just a thread for myself. I'm not expecting people to post, but if you have any questions, skim through the old thread first at least before asking. Otherwise, I'm just going to be updating this thread for the sake of writing down thoughts or recording actions...

Got in contact with one of my other previous host brothers whose really cool. He has been willing to help me out in any way possible, which is great, but he has to keep quiet in order to avert any attention.

Feel better about nothing too serious supposedly not happening as of yet, though I will hold my bearings until the mother contacts me (hopefully soon). I'm less restless than I have been, so I've improved by that much. Hoping to hear from the other brother soon.

The son doesn't seem too worried... rather he doesn't see it as too big of a deal, but then again it is his father who let him go on his exchange... and he is his father after all. I would never think of turning him against his own father, but his coolness in his response is reassuring and at the same time inappropriate. I suppose I would act the same way in that position however.
