/adv/, I had unprotected sex with a grill two weeks ago on the basis that she had PCOS and hasn't had a period since last year (usually people with PCOS need fertility treatment to get pregnant)
I'm not that concerned about it, but it's an issue that's there. She has since got back with her ex (we both knew we were nothing really more than a quick fuck)
How weird would it be to ask her to do a pregnancy test?
Pregnancy is the last thing you should be worrying about.
Since she likes casually rawdoging you should go to a clinic to check you don't have an std or HIV now.

"results all clear no further action required"
On it
And HIV is very unlikely from vaginal sex

stay positive, m8

Actually this is kind of true. It's much harder for men to contract std's from women in general than it is the other way around. Unfortunately for women.
There's still a risk though regardless. Good on OP for getting checked.

Well, my mom has PCOS, so. It's definitely possible. I have PCOS too, and while it is true it can lower your fertility, it doesn't kill it. PCOS also tends to work in waves. If her symptoms are light at the time, (you wouldn't be able to tell, only her), fertility goes up.
In other words, don't be stupid, wrap that shit. If you can't afford a child, don't even give mother nature the chance.

No period in 12 months is strongly suggestive of anovulatory infertility
I can certainly afford a child (I'm a doctor - she's a nurse) - I just don't want one right now
But so far no one has answered my question of whether it is acceptable to ask her to do a pregnancy test, given the circumstances
