So I've never ever had trouble finding a job.

I moved to a new area thinking I wouldn't have any trouble for the above reasons. Since moving I haven't gotten any e-mail responses to any ads I've been replying to on Craigslist. I'm mostly applying to Administrative Assistant/Receptionist positions at Law Offices because I want to go to Law School in a few years.
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong and honestly feel over-qualified, but am not getting any responses.
Theory:

Should I go into random law offices with my resume? I feel like most of them will think I'm annoying and I'll have my resume thrown in the trash by the current receptionist.
