How do I explain to a little child ( 5) that something they saw should never be talked about or even told to their mom or dad?
Now this is what I call bait. You could catch a whale with this bait.

I didn't hurt her if that's what you are implying.
you just act as if it was normal, but ignore the situation.
Young children get their reactions from things from watching other peoples reactions.
If a child falls and hurt themselves and you look in shock, they will cry, as a pavlovian response.
If you just look at them normally and pick them up, they'll be fine.
If you did something like, got caught masturbating, just ignore it and move on, they probably wont care about it because they think its just normal.
If you make a deal out of it, then thats when it gets troublesome.

I was cutting myself and she saw. I tired to play it off but she kept worrying I was hurt or something. I just really don't want to tell her mom or dad.

You're insane if you think 5 year olds have the mental capacity to explain in detail what they saw. They absolutely cannot. The most she'd be able to say is that she saw you were hurt. That's it. She would not be able to piece together the complex actions of why you were hurt. Just that you were hurt. And at that point, you just shrug and say "oh yeah I had a papercut"
So don't say shit to the kid. They have no idea what you're saying anyway.

Well then, thats different.
You probably should tell her parents, and your own, about whats going on.
Dont make this a burden on yourself if you are depressed. You family will and can help you.

Play it off that you cut yourself by accident, usually adults take I ordinary things kids say with a generous grain of salt.
Also I think cutting is your real problem in this situation, but what do I know?
>>17501448
Nooo I have problems worse than cutting trust me.
>>17501445
No one wants to help you with these types of problems
>>17501455
Pretty sure every cutter says that.
>>17501474
Well i actually do and I'm helping myself by doing this.
>>17501482
Pretty sure every cutter says that, too.
>>17501484
No you don't understand I've been improving.
>>17501487
I doubt that, though I know it may feel like improvement in the short term.
>>17501513
No it's long term trust me.
>>17501455
So? It's still a problem that needs to be fixed. You can solve the other problems by having a clearer head and not needing to cut.
