You move on by letting go of bottled up emotions. I didn't let go of a 3 year break up and I actually spoke to my ex last month to figure out that I missed the memories more than the actual person and if you're stuck in that predicament then you can't re live them but what you can do is make new memories. Just time, and focusing on your mental and physical self. As time goes on, you'll find that those emotions you're feeling are less easily aroused.

I had a crush on a girl for about a year and a half and she knew it, and eventually it got so uncomfortable between us that she decided it was best for us to not be friends.

After severe depression, followed by being constantly angry at her for what happened, I finally managed to try to talk to her again later on and now we're good friends again (point is it's possible for you to move on or things can get better).
I threw away everything I had that reminded me of her and distracted myself as much as I could. Hopefully everything goes well for you.
