So I live in japan at the moment (since 1 week) but cant speak alot of japanese due to a lack of speaking with japanese people. I can speak english fairly well and my mother tongue is german. I thought it would be cool to do a kind of language exchange thing where I meet someone at like a café or something and we practice speaking in japanese and english/german to learn from each other. Now my question: is there some kind of website for this? How can I find someone who is interested?
btw im male, 18yo
kanji in pic describes it perfectly

In my day you could post a free ad in Metropolis for a language exchange partner. If I were you I'd mention that you'd prefer a dude as a partner because it's easy to pick up girlisms, which are many in Japanese, if you only talk to girls. And anyway people assume all gaijin dudes are really looking to hook up and not really serious about learning the language if they are looking for female language exchange partners, so nobody will answer your ad.
Unfortunately the drinking age is 20 there so you can't do the best thing which is simply become a regular at your local bar.
