why antidepressants?

Antidepressants can treat a variety of problems, not just depression. Some examples are seizures and pedophilia, and other sexual deviancies by lowering libido

You don't. It is currently untreatable.
It is one of the most difficult to treat disorders imaginable, because the changes in the brain are so widespread and may not be entirely systematic.

Furthermore, even the possibility of such a treatment raises deep ethical concerns, because it forces us to question who we really "are" and whether this changes if such widespread modifications to brain structure and function are reversed: ie, if you were able to take an autistic patient and modify their brain as to reverse the changes caused by the source of the disorder (likely mutations in proteins responsible for neuronal organization and connection), would you be "treating" the patient, or changing them on a fundamental level, turning them into someone else entirely, someone who thinks, feels, remembers, loves, hates, and generally interacts with the world completely differently than the original patient?

As for some of the symptoms that usually accompany autism, there are some options (eg anxiolytics for anxiety, as well as experimental treatments for emotional and social difficulties).
List the specific symptoms that are bothering you for more help.
