How do I kick start my life? I see all these productive kids my age ( 19-21 ) and they have their shit on lock. They know what vocation they wish to take ( And make an astonishing amount of money for our age ) and I just feel lost. I've never been good at much besides history and politics. I plan on going to college, but not for what my strengths are because I'd be making fuck all having a world history degree ( Besides for bragging rights == not worth It ). Do I find something that the market needs and focus on that? The age of average or slightly above average intellect individuals making good money with a degree Is over. The only degrees I see worth It are engineering, comp sci, and economics ( With intent to be In investment banking ). And math Is what I suck at. Should I just be an entrepreneur? Maybe fix computers till I have enough cash to fund some venture In a bare market niche? I'm truly lost, and I can't imagine I'm the only one. Any advice?
work backwards.
what would you like people to say about you at your funeral?
Then set long, medium and short term goals to get there.
if maths is the thing that is a short term problem to stop you from becoming a trader / scientist / whatever then you have a focus.
