Well, this is it, guys. Got the call yesterday about my mom getting sent to the hospital again. There was one about her heart stopping last night, and it happened again today.
Should we just let her die?
It seems so fucked up to force someone's body alive like a convulsing vegetable, just because you "don't want to lose them". I already know that with everything that has happened, she wouldn't want to be brought back.
Do I just say goodbye? This is my mother. I'm only 24 years old.
I had to leave work because I couldnt say it to myself. Just the thought of losing my mother, or bothering to tell someone who couldn't give a shit about me or my situation.. I clocked out and told them, but if this happens, I'm not going to want to go back to the job I had when my mom died. That's going to be permanently tied to it.
