Basically I met this girl through a mutual friend, we started talking and clicked instantly. We couldn't see each other because of distance barrier but eventually I asked her out and she swung by. We pretty much just talked for 5 hours straight, there was some minor flirting but nothing too serious to go off, she's pretty shy and she told me she hasn't dated anyone in 3 years. According to mutual friends she had a lot of fun and when I mentioned going out again she was down, unfortunately for me, she left back for school (2 hour drive).
I'm going to be at her campus in 2 weeks for a convention. Should I try to keep in contact with her and then ask to go out when I get there? Or is this already too much effort?

I mean I guess I just can't really tell if I should try to keep in touch and dating her. I don't even know if it will end anywhere. She's pretty cool, but I never can tell if first dates go well or not.
