I've always wondered this, as every few months or so I'll have a wet dream.
Are wet dreams (for a male) purely mentally/psychologically induced, or is there physical stimulation at play? Like am I masturbating in my sleep or rubbing my groin up against the mattress to induce said orgasm? I've wondered this because last night I had a wet dream, but I woke up on my back, my hands at my side, and my blanket wasn't anywhere near me. Does this mean my wet dream was physically "encouraged" at all?

Nofap gives wetdreams but besides that i think it's in the head.
Personally, i have always incorporated outside stimuli to the dream but it never set the dream's course.

This proves nofap is pointless. No matter what you do, you still cream once for a while. Just don't exaggerate with fappping and keep it sporadic. That's the true way.

Nah, I did nofap for 5 months once. Not a single wet dream. Some guys just never get them.

It's the opposite - lack of physical stimulation causes them. In adolescence, with your hormones going crazy, you will occasionally build up an overload of semen and have to eject it. This is one case in which masturbation is actually good for you.
Not sure what shit people are chatting in this thread, but from my experience nofap is entirely mentally stimulated. Usually happens to me when dreaming of fucking or raping someone and the ejaculation sensation is very intense.
But sometimes I get that same intensity, I think ive cum my pants, then it turns out I haven't. That's a weird one.
