So I'll be homeless in a week or so, have not been able to get a job for over a year and still have under a credit to make up for a deploma and suffer with autism
What advice can you give me?
Been down similar road. Just make sure to research any social services that can help. Especially food shelves and emergency housing services. It can be difficult at first but make sure you don't freak out cause your life isn't over. Do you have a car you can live in?

Financial Aid worker here.
If you're in the US, you will qualify for max financial aid if you're under the age of 24, if you have a GED or a high school diploma. I will consider posting a throwaway email, as retarded as that is (well it's a throwaway, this is what it's for) if you can post any evidence/timestamp proving your situation. I'd risk the occasional troll if it means I may be preventing a potential student from being homeless.
For now, just list state/presence of GED/high school diploma so I can give you the basic info.
Worst case scenario, get cleaned up, work ANY job, and live out of a storage unit. As long as you can bribe the guy who runs the place or be sneaky, you will survive.

The best job you can get with somewhat minimal training is computer repairs. If you can get skilled in even just taking apart a laptop and putting it back together (youtube, toolkits cost 6 bucks at wallmart) then you can get the job.
Go to the nearest church, even if you're not religious. They usually have the best resources and people willing to help as long as you can present your situation well. Ask for custodial positions.
Avoid homeless shelters unless you can defend yourself.
Go register at a homeless shelter. It will make getting benefits easier. Maybe buy a van with your autismocoins and live in there.
Get a tent, sleeping bag and find a place to hole up. Learn to shoplifting from grocery stores. Get a job.

You can also go to /out/ and look for the vagabond/homeless thread. Lot of trolls, but theres a couple experienced people who will be very willing to help you if any specific questions come up.
