I'm wondering if it is worth going to law school. I always hear of people majoring in STEM, and I couldn't imagine myself performing math daily. I like science, especially chemistry and biology, however I really love politics/government. I want to become a constitutional lawyer (any type of lawyer would do, but that is perferred) and eventually run for local office. The thing is, I don't know if a state law school is worth it (kansas), I really never hear of lawyers online (maybe an extremely busy job) and it seems everyone is going into stem, and I don't want to fuck over my life.
If I have too, I'll go into STEM (sciences), but I I really like the fields of law and government. Can someone help me out?
I'm a senior in HS btw.

First you have to get through undergraduate. You can major in anything and then go to law school.
If you aren't taking/have taken AP Calculus now then you're probably not cut out for Physics/Math/CompSci and are fooling yourself.
Also if you're a senior and haven't already applied to schools and applied for scholarships, you're a little late to the party. That makes your whole story smell a bit bad.

Its worth it, but if you're mediocre and don't plan on studying hard to be the best, don't bother.
For you to be successful as a lawyer you'll have to be better than your (numerous) competitors... So, learn a new language, -possibly a difficult and usefull one like chinese- network a lot and go on a lot of seminars as well.
You have to be the professors favorite also...
As you can see, its a very competitive career, so...

Did you go to a state College? We're you hired in a firm or did you create your own?
My GPA is a 3.7 at the moment and I have a 29 ACT score for those who could transform that into meaningfull advice.
