I enjoyed going to a LAC, but I did math, instead of humanities. Unfortunately, most LACs don't have engineering, and I probably would have enjoyed engineering. With Amherst though, I think you can take classes at nearby universities. Since most LACs are so small, they are limited in what they offer, so consider that.
