Can i know what its like to be a psycopath? Is it like in the movies? American Psycho for example?. I'm bored and i just wanna hear some stories.
>>
Litteraly Pulp Fiction
or Scarface
>>
>>17462909
Most psychopaths aren't like that, and you most likely won't know someone is a sociopath until you've spent some time with them.
>>
>>17462909
There are psycho/sociopath documentaries you can check out on youtube, they usually are boring people in the sense they aren't killers.
>>
>>17463258
This. They are honestly pretty sad people who miss out on the "spell" of life. They go through the motions but it doesn't move or change them. So everything bores them and they find ways to cheat the system. Tell themselves how genius they are even though the more remarkable quality they have is their ruthlessness, which makes them see options that would simply not be options for more conscientious people.

Most smart sociopaths use their skills to become rich and acquire social status. "Win the game." They have no interest in killing people because it would likely fuck their life over, and the thought doesn't excite everyone. They are content feeling superior to others.
>>
>>17463267
Also wanted to add that even this is a relatively stereotypical sociopath. There are sociopaths who don't realize that they are sociopaths at all, and just assume that their amount of feelings is normal. They are perhaps mildly more successful (not experiencing fear is helpful in intimidating social situations like a stressful job interview) but that's all.
>>
>>17463273
I think they feel fear, just not guilt or empathy

So they might be worried about an interview, but they might throw Johnson in 12b under the bus to get his job
>>
>>17462909
>They tend to move a lot unless they are low functioning.

>Constant boredom leads to a string of one night stands, failed relationships, and high divorce rates. If they are married it is under false pretense, and typically only males with any personality disorder can pull off staying married or in a ltr for longer than 5 years.

>Addiction problems. Stealing, Gambling, drugs, alcohol, porn, sex, etc. Though this is rarely discussed in the field of psychology numerous individuals with a personality disorder such as a Narcissist, Borderline, or sociopath will be drawn to fetishes. Whether that be inflicting pain or receiving. Also, many individuals with a personality disorder will have many tattoos or various body piercings such as the tongue, phallus, labia, nipples, or eyebrows.

>Most break laws and get caught if they are low functioning. High functioning individuals with a personality disorder usually cover their tracks fairly well- think white collar crimes such as fraud.

Hope this gives you some insight.
>>
>>17463276
No, not a normal amount at least. I mean, they might be worried about getting the job, but the things that would stress normal people out don't touch them because they're not as receptive towards social signs. It's like they understand the life game but are not in on it so they don't get uncomfortable with intense eye contact or critical questions or anything. They might be inwardly worried that it's not going well and they might not get their way, but they won't feel the regular anxiety that's tied up in the interaction.
>>
>>17463284
Then I guess a better analogy would be they fear not getting the job but they don't fear the interviewer actually liking them or not.

The same social stresses don't effect them in the same way
>>
>>17463291
Yes! That was what I was getting at. I also think they'd have a less emotional overview of the situation... so whereas a normal person might be caught up in feeling like they lose their dream job within the certain sympathetic company where they already know someone etc, sociopath would be going "it would suck to not get this job because it is the best position I can apply for, but the other one is only marginally less good". Which also calms you.
>>
>>17463291
You have to aware though individuals with autism or Asperger's tend to be socially awkward as well. They do not exhibit fear in these types of interview situations, and some can maintain unusual eye contact. Whether that be long bouts of staring or not looking at the interviewer. I have noticed though individuals that have autism or Asperger's tend to fidget somewhat, whether that be a pen, piece of paper, rubbing fingers together, etc. I have even noticed some with Asperger's that use an object basically as a shield like grasping an object in their laps, or using an object to block the interviewer or individual they are conversing with. They tend to utilize the security blanket effect in situations that induce anxiety but not fear.
>>
>>17463303
You sound quite proffessional. Have you met a socio/psycho before?
>>
>>17463276
empathy - yes
the best way to influence and control someone is through empathy.
Guilt - yeh pretty much never.
>>
I feel like I've been a sociopath in a young age but didn't know it. I had no remorse or guilt hurting others, it took me a few years to learn that there's a reason I get a bad reputation.

I'm not sure though, I was different then.
>>
My father is a sociopath and I've whitnessed him harm many people as a child, I was also born a meth baby, I've never went to the doctor or whatever to diagnose me with any disorder, but I'm 99.9% positive I'm a sociopath like my father.
>>
>>17463906
What socio stuff you think youve done?
>>
>>17463474
>the best way to influence and control someone is through empathy.
That's not empathy, that is manipulation through feigning empathy
>>
I have borderline personality disorder. Im very impulsive, excessive spending, relationships are often intense and end fast. Feel emotions x100 (happy, sad, anger, etc) and cant control it shit sucks bro

I'm not sure if I'm actually a legit psycho or just edgy af, but sometimes I feel like I'm either a low functioning psycho dumb ass or a full blown schitzo just waiting to snap. I've done and dealt tons of drugs, spent ridiculous amounts of money on stupid shit, tortured insects for fun, dropped out of uni, fucked hookers, lied for no reason but the thrill, etc. I don't really care about anyone but myself and I hear fucking voices telling me to do crazy shit like raping my grandma or setting rude bitches on fire. The voices in my head are mostly my own but sometimes they're not. It gets worse when I can't sleep. I'm well aware there is something wrong with me but I've never dared to see a therapist. I'm afraid I'll be locked up in an asylum...
>>
>>17466111
You sound like you're 15.
>>
I don't know what it means to be empathetic.

I feel fear in the form of absolute anger. (Fight or flight response)

I don't do well with relationships. I can feel lust for someone but any further "feelings" escape me.
>>
It's not like how it's portrayed in the movies, my biological dad is a sociopath. They're really charming until you get to know them, then you'll realise they're controlling, aggressive, impulsive, and verbally abusive for starters.

The only people he had in his life were people that he used (i.e. people that he had business interest). He didn't talk to his family or my mums side of the family, and would get upset when we tried to. He never went over to chill with a friend/have a beer with anyone or had any genuine friends that we would see for more than a few months.

They'll be nice around potential people that would be an asset, but at the same time they'll shout at service staff for the smallest issues (my bio-dad would shout at anyone really when he would lose control of a situation)

The only way to get away from it all is to break off all contact with them. Once they get inside they'll mess with your emotions because they'll know its ins and outs.
>>
>>17466179
Oh also my dad knew what he was like but was entirely unapologetic.

Think: not feeling bad when you make your wife cry herself to sleep
>>
>>17466179
Fuck, bro, that sounds truly awful. I'm curious though, is sociopathy a genetic disorder? Like just some weird fluke in an otherwise normal family tree? Like hemophilia or heterochromia or whatever else? Or did he just have assholes in his life who somehow turned him that way? I'm genuinely curious, by the way, because I have absolutely no knowledge or experience with this.
>>
>>17466058
A whirlwind of emotions :/
>>
>>17466158
Agree
>>
I am a psychopath and a sociopath.

As a psychopath I have weird rules, if someone breaks them I don't care who they are, I destroy them. Usually these rules mean bullying someone weaker than them, bullying me, stealing, cheating etc. I have gone to great lengths to ruin people's lives because I thought they were morally inferior.

Sociopath? I am a shy withdrawn kid who was never able to understand anyone's emotions. But when something bad happens and I really need someone to help me, I basically turn into a different person where my face gets energetic, my eyes are straight, my senses are enhanced, I smile and manipulate people into doing anything. That shit has gotten me out of alot of trouble. I only say hi, hello etc to people because I have to, I don't really care for them.

But, I do feel for some people though, like those in need or those who are good hearted. It's the only time my sociopathic mode goes into off and I start to experience love.
>>
>>17466461

Sorry, I can't take you seriously. You can't be a sociopath AND a psychopath, the latter emerges from a developmental disorder originating from a strong genetic predisposition/larger genetic predisposition than social disposition while the former originates from one's environment and nurturing.

Just sounds like you massively lack empathy, you can either feel love and that eliminates the possibility of you being a psychopath and greatly diminishes the possibility of being a sociopath, or you do feel love as a sociopath which is very different from what normal people experience

I pity you nonetheless. We are damned to go through existence without emotions
>>
>>17466158
I'm 25 bro, and as I said, a dumb ass.
Atleast I have the insight to see there is something wrong with me.
>>
>where do I research sociopathy/"psychopathy"?
>I was thinking American Psycho

>no, definitely Pulp Fiction

I don't know how to help you people.

I actually am a diagnosed sociopath (nonviolent) if you have a question about it
>>
>>17466862
How do you feel about being diagnosed with a bogus disorder by a jew?
>>
>>17466865
I don't care, it doesn't affect me because I don't tell anyone irl.
>>
>>17466862

Sure.

Have you read and do you like the 48 Laws of Power?

If you are white, have you ever flushed/blushed? If so how do you keep yourself from doing it. It's a lifelong irritation for me.

Do you have a disregard for the feelings of animals as well?

Thank you.
>>
>>17466862
>nonviolent
Is this in the actual diagnosis or are you saying it for the sake of the questions?
>>
>>17466911
Haven't read it
I blush sometimes but it's purely physical, I can't control it
I wouldn't hurt an animal or a person for no reason, but if there was some gain in it for me I would. I like animals generally

>>17466932
I'm just saying it
