I am getting into my late 20s and have not had a relationship. I will admit, I am desperate. My friend says you need to stop caring about women, then you can have a relationship. How is that even possible?
One girl I texted abd asked her out, she never responded. I feel like crap. Have a hard time forgetting about her.
How do I just stop giving a fuck? I am afraid though because it seems like a slippery slope. You stop giving a fuck about women then suddenly you stop giving a fuck about anything.
Is this life?

Your friend is right, girls come when you're not looking for them. Usually men that aren't looking for women are heavily pursuing their goals or already have a lot of women. Those guys don't scream desperation, they scream "challenge" to a woman.
He's the man that puts himself and his goal first and doesn't tolerate too much from women. Women admire his dignity and his ability to take charge.
