About as bad as breathing in carcinogens will get. In moderation I guess it's not that bad in comparison to people who smoke constantly. But it's better not to do it at all because you're harming your lungs with smoke either way.

The health effects of cigars are generally the same as the health effects of cigarettes. It's not good for you, but don't be a scrub and get a humidor and do it right.

Op, if you don't have a humidor, don't buy more cigars than you can smoke in 2 weeks, they'll dry out and get stale.

Cigars do have side effects- I don't inhale, just enjoy the taste of the cigar smoke, but you do gas yourself with secondhand smoke, regardless, and while cigars are less adulterated than cigarettes, it's not like you're smoking vitamins and green tea. They also taste great but smell like burnt feet and ass, as you know, so there's the social effect, as you can see from the concern trolls here.

I enjoy them, myself. I smoke maybe 2 a month.

you leave the smoke in your mouth and appreciate it's flavor

it can lead to mouth cancer tho, try to be moderate as Monte Cristos/ Cohibas are expensive
