usually if you're eating your own skin, you either have a nutritional deficiency or are under a lot of stress. maybe both, since obviously your parents being sued is very stressful and stress can deplete your body's nutrients.

here is what I would advise:
>stop eating your skin
>just throw away the skin that peels off
>if you can't stop eating your skin, at least rid yourself of the idea that peeled-off skin has to have a use
>it doesn't, it is literally a waste product of your body

>start taking a multivitamin with minerals if you're not already doing so
>drink plenty of water because sunburn is dehydrating and because even very mild dehydration makes stress worse

>go to your parents and ask if there is anything you can do to help them, whether it's going over to their house and helping with the chores or whatever
>this will make you feel less helpless in this stressful situation
