hello /adv/
I wanted to ask you guys for some advice regarding self study.

for the past 3 weeks, I've been studying for an IT cert. I've was planning on reading an entire 800pg book 1 chapter a day and writing notes down as I'm reading it.
The problem is that I still can't remember most of what I wrote down anyways, and its starting to feel useless.

How should I go with self studying? I was thinking of rereading a chapter twice a day and watching videos online to reinforce everything.
