i hate everything about it. just surfing their websites looking for my next alma mater makes me literally suicidal.
HOWEVER, since i have autoimmune disease and therefore 0 (zero) physical stamina, i have to get some sort of education. NEETbux won't cover the bills. i'm also, reportedly, fairly bright, which should be a plus but in minimum wage type jobs i tend to zone out too much which in turn effects my work performance, which, coupled with my health problems renders me virtually unemployable. it doesn't help that my coworkers find me weird AF.
is there work for self-taught programmers? or is the market totally saturated. i know a lot about math and computers but i'm not interested in further formal training. should i just suck it up and go? kill myself?

Not really, unless you have experience to show that you know what you're doing

isn't this why people do open source projects?

Somewhat, but that involves knowing the right people
