My name is Dakota, which is more and more a girls name these days. But it's turning out to be a positive for me, because my degree is very relationship/communication oriented, and generally employers in this field want females because they're reliably friendly and outgoing and all the things that make good communicators. I'm pretty sure that a lot of the interviews I get called in for are because recruiters think I'm a girl.
