It's quite reasonable that she does. That's the most common cycle you mentioned, but the reality is most people fit anywhere +/- comfortably. Not everyone is THE average, many people are not.

Also if you're going to rely on rhythm birth control, don't count calendar days. Almost every woman - even very regular ones will have an off period at some point, skipping one entirely, or having it come early, or having it come late. If you're going to do rhythm have her do that more complicated and accurate form where she takes her temperature daily at the exact same time every day.
