Be an asshole but be inconsistent about it.
I got good with girls once i started roasting them out of nowhere, you have to stablish that you are a good person to keep contact tho. If being an asshole is the only thing people see you doing then no one will be around you.
Being an asshole sometimes is considered banter between friends and couples.
Just try being considerate, nothing too extreme.
Try being more selfish.

Being nice and being a pushover are two separate things. It's a balancing act. You should be nice, but you should not openly trust everyone and you should always know your limits. You need to be able to say 'no' sometimes

As greedy as it sounds, you should always come first. You should focus on yourself more than anyone else and you shouldn't throw yourself under the bus just to make others happy. Just do you and don't care what people think
