How do you deal with having good quality of life if you work

Give more info. What days do you work, just for starters?

What do you mean by "quality of life"? Do you mean a social life? I worked that type of schedule (2nd shift) at a 24 hour call center. I simply made friends with coworkers who were on the same shift as me, and all was well.

If you're taking about just general life quality, then I don't know what to tell you. I loved working 2nd shift. Sleep until 11 most days. Have time to squeeze in appointments, errands, or school before work if you need to. Go grocery shopping at midnight when no one else is around. Avoid ALL traffic.

Gotta watch your diet.

Get up early, don't sleep in. As much time as you would in a 9-5. And when you get home after work, go right to sleep, and don't drink or smoke anything.
