How the fuck do I maintain my ratio on a private tracker?
Nobody fucking downloads anything, ever.
They just seed to build their ratio up and sit on it.
It feels like I'm being strong-armed into donating for their data credits.

That's pretty much how it goes. If you don't have a fast upload speed or a seedbox then you're fucked. You'll have to seed for a long time or constantly be uploading your own stuff

I used to download popular torrents with a lot of leechers then just seed those(lime game of thrones episodes dubbed in russian and shit like that) then download muh obscure shit without worrying about seeding

Well with KAT dead I need my fix from other sources.
I got a BakaBT and GazelleGames account.
So now I'm seeding a whole 78 kib/s from 12 different files with several dozen leechers but hundreds of seeders.
