I think my brain is fucked /adv/.
I get these weird sleep attacks during the day. Like when I am at work during the day, I feel these intense urges to just sleep over take me.
I try and fight back and it just ends up looking like I am having a seizure or that I am zoning out. My mind fades out and then I pop back to alertness in what feels like 3-5 minutes later.
My eyes get heavy and my body feels heavy. If I try and stand, I feel almost.. drunk? I can't walk straight. The only remedy has been for me to just let it take me. If I fight it, it seems to just fatigue me for longer.
Obviously I can't just sleep on the job. I have noticed this doesn't happen to me too much at home though. Am I just bored at work? Am I just a lazy worker?
What the fuck is going on?

Narcolepsy.
See a doctor.
could be narcolepsy, but I ain't a doctor. you should see one
or you might just be a lazy worker. do you drink coffee? give that a shot, or even just tea. caffeine is the bomb.

I fucking hate caffeine. Its a fucking crutch. People can take 5 mins to go make coffee on the job but its considered "unprofessional" for me to take a quick 5 min nap? Why don't we call drinking coffee what it is? "DOING DRUGS"

you sound like a special snowflake with lots of opinions, enjoy your narcolepsy.

and you sound like a drug addicted crutch abuser. enjoy your caffeine withdrawal head aches.

Power napping is unreliable. Coffee is more acceptable because it doesn't risk interfering with your job.

>spending 5 mins to get UP and go to the FUCKING COFEE MAKER, WAIT FOR THE COFFEE TO FUCKING BOIL, POUR IT, DRINK IT doesn't take 5 mins!?
FUCK YOU!
maybe your brain is trying to shut down because of what an insufferable little edgelord you are

wew lad
yeah, it's acceptable for people to go make a drink that will literally help them think faster and get shit done quicker

caffeine withdrawals are hardly bad. one cup 3-4 times a week isn't going to hurt.
