Don't try to grow a beard until you know that it's going to look good. Growing a crap beard is far worse than being clean shaving. Lose that patchy fuzz and don't worry about getitng a "manly" beard. You're a young man. Give it time.

The sides look pretty bad I'd keep them shaved. The bottom isn't great either but you can keep it because it doesn't look that bad. As for women some like it and some don't. Fuck what they want.
