Everyone in my family who married their highschool sweetheart (or boyfriends/girlfriends in their late teens/early 20s') is still with them- from the youngest being 10yrs of marriage plus years of dating, to the longest alive being 60yrs of marriage plus dating. I'm engaged to mine after 8yrs of dating.

I'd say the worst thing to do in your situation is being pessimistic. Not doing so is much easier said than done, i know that from experience, and many of my friends are probably doing worse that you OP. After losing my virginity(properly) and getting a gf my self-worth increased infinitely, it was only after we broke up i realised the improvements in my life were not caused by her presence(rather the opposite) but by a changed perception of myself and others, which also helped me quit being a stoner. I believe many, as i once did, build up an inferiority complex over being a virgin, and believe they either are lesser men because of being virgins, or that they are virgins because of being lesser than others. I've seen these people on the internet as well as in my life, and i have been one of these people. If you believe changing your life for the better to be impossible, you won't try and it won't happen. If you deem yourself worthless because your penis hasn't been inside a vagina, you main problem isn't being a virgin, but your view on life in general.
