Hey /adv, I'm having trouble with choosing to major in either theoretical mathematics(pure) or theoretical physics. I love the abstraction and lack of physical bounds of pure mathematics, but I also love rationalizing and examining physical phenomena with mathematical models. I have keen interest in both and I am torn in-between but I know that both are intrinsically intertwined with each other. I've had AP classes for both of them and passed with A+/B's (I did have trouble with physics though, love it still none the less). What should I do adv?
>inb4 both are not very profitable majors
I'm planning on going to grad school
Both are close together however if you're going to study physics make sure to get some lab work/ computational work, I can't vouch for a 100% theoretical education even if it's my favored area.
