What are some general things that average college students like to talk about
So far I've got it down to
>rap and pop music
>Trump is the worst xd
>gym
>random physical activities like kayaking
>americas got talent
What else
>>17403222
the average person likes to talk about what they like. you have some specific stuff down but the
>Random physical activities like kayaking
is an example of what i mean.
most everyone has a physical activity they enjoy, each ones different. its eaiser to do something like TV cuz everyone likes the popular shows.
Game of thrones, orange is the new black, etc. movies are the same
>this big marvel movie
>this big DC movie
>this big other movie
at the end of hte day people jsut want to talk about themselves. what they like is simply an extension of that.
>>17403239
any more?
Also do I need to actually watch those shows or just learn basic trivia about them
Are you an alien learning how to live among earthlings? Or a robot who desires to be human, perhaps?
>>17403314
stop being edgy
>>17403348
literally how is this edgy
>>17403356
pretending you dont know how its edgy, is very edgy.
>>17403360
Do you even know what edgy means?
>>17403366
yes. pretending that basic human conversation is beyond your understanding is definitely in the realm of edgy.
>>17403348
He obviously thinks they are retarded but understands he needs to deal with them anyway so he might as well get good at it.
There's literally nothing edgy about that.
News and pop culture OP. If you have a good grasp of both, you'll be set for 95% of conversations. Anything else requires deep knowledge of several fields but most people aren't intelligent enough to get into things like that with you.

>He obviously thinks they are retarded but understands he needs to deal with them anyway so he might as well get good at it.
gif related I wish I had learned this years ago
By news you must mean shit like ET today right? Cause if I try to talk about how destabilized the middle east is due to US meddling and how Russia is trying to fix it by backing Assad they will just give me a blank stare, I've never tried it before but I just know
Also I need a total overview of college millennial pop culture

>>17403376
I will third this notion. I still haven't figured it out. Well I have but I refuse to stoop to the level of talking about what celebrities are up to or fucking pokemon go
>>17403493
will pokemon go actually fucking work?
>>17403375
you're legitimately retarded
not him but people misusing edgy bugs me
>>17403497
Anon, even my grandmother is playing pokemon go. I literally have not met a single person other than myself who isn't playing it. And that's only because I'm a raging tinfoiler and know it's funded by In-Q-Tel (aka, the CIA), so it's probably a massive decentralized surveillance camera operation.
>>17403375
That's not edgy at all.
>>17403382
By news I mean latest things going on with the election and things at home. Some stuff about the world especially if it's some tragedy.
Pop culture can be gained by listening to radios for newest music, watching popular tv shows, etc. For instance, watching Game of Thrones will get you in the good graces of a sizable portion of the population while potentially still being enjoyable to you. Basically, if it is popular, you should know about it and there are plenty of sites who are dying to tell you about garbage no one should care about but they do anyway either out of boredom or stupidity.
I'm an average 22 year old college student. I live in Richmond, VA and go to school in VA as well. Here is what my friends and I generally talk about:
>weekend plans (bars, parties, going to a lake, going up to Maine, whatever)
>stupid things we've done drunk.
>stupid things others have done drunk.
>game of thrones
>how interested in seeing the newest blockbuster movie trailer that we've seen.
>making fun of each other
>making fun of Hillary.
>making fun of Trump.
>hot girls (especially if there are girls in the group because they love talking about each other)
>our girlfriends
>videogames
>world news
>which local happy hour has the best deal'
>how out of shape we're getting
That about sums up all conversations I've had in the past several weeks.

Links to these sites?
Also what is it about normies that makes them have such a fucking hard on for game of thrones? Isn't it medieval warfare shit that would normally make them go NEEEERD XD
>>17403622
>mfw I go to VCU in richmond
Whats up richmond bro, fuck traffic on i95 especially in the downtown area
So basically
>random weekend bullshit
>lol beer
>lol game of thrones
>wow latest shit tier NUMBER 1 MOVIE IN AMERICA
>bantz
>mocking politicans
>girls
>world news (wheres ukraine) gee i dunno
>im out of shape but can still get laid YOLO
The more I understand normies the more I hate them
>>17403512
>Anon, even my grandmother is playing pokemon go. I literally have not met a single person other than myself who isn't playing it.
Used to be that if you ever brought up pokemon you were a loser nerd that should kill himself, now its all the rage
So basically its not really about the content of the thing itself, its if the normies somehow latch onto it that makes it acceptable or not, and if normies aren't into it its not acceptable
Fucking normies
>>17403743
>hard on for game of thrones
>hard on
That's it. It's basically a porno with a really fucking good plot
>>17403808
why do normies even look at porn when they get laid all the time
Also does anyone else have anything else that normies are into?
>>17403922
Because bitches like to whithold sex, and sometimes jacking it is quicker than foreplay.
TV. Lots of it. Just look up shit like "top TV shows" and stuff like that, maybe add 2016 to the search.
>>17403808
>really fucking good plot
Not anymore.
