How do you help somebody become self-aware? Is it possible or can a person live their life completely unaware of their actions? What would be involved if you can help them? I don't know who else to ask and it's becoming such a problem for the household especially given the circumstances. I'll give more info on what I mean if this thread gets some replies.

Yes, I believe someone can exist without being truly self aware. Part of that is realizing that you yourself may not be "truly" self aware.

And generally, I'd say the only way to help someone in this regard is to do whatever they do to others, to them. Explanation or reasoning usually only results in them feeling the need to go on the defense.
