No. Just like any relationship, it's up to you to define what it means and find people who understand and accept that particular style of relationship. Maybe you simply don't believe in the traditional style of friendship so define one that works for you.

yes, is very hard to get a real friend.

I'm lucky I had one friend who was a martial artists and he got me into martial arts because I was a very wimpy beta bullied faggot.

then I moved from his neightbor.
but he help me meet my other real friend who I was in contact in facebook.
He told me the value of getting gud and living to your full potential.

I just broke up from his friendship after 10 years because we'd started to fight over diferent life goals and me being a lazy piece of shit.

I miss him and he nows live in another country.

My advice is try to get in contact with people you see pushing themselves far.
try to get some guy who has a hobby or something he lives for, a sport, reading, music composition.

Many of the people who pushes themselves will have some of the same improving goals.

That's the best kind of people, unless they're some kind of smug asshole.
But you can't stop being an smug asshole if you push and work hard and see how everyone is a lazy piece of shit with no life goals and living mediocre lifes.

Same as getting a real girl, get one with goals.
