Same thoughts here, and I'm not OP. Guys and girls both run to find a fresh pair of genitals to suck and fuck on as soon as their current relationship shows signs of trouble or difficulty, even if they're just getting to know them.

I have a couple reasons why this might happen. Insecurity/fear of being alone is a huge one. Being too fickle and emotionally driven is another. And I will say that this happens all the time with both men and women.

Personally once I really like a girl I can't think about anyone else. People tell you to have "abundance mentality" but I feel like that only works well for people who just date a lot and don't give a fuck. Personally I know what I want from a girlfriend/wife and would rather be alone than compromise on them. Physical attractiveness is important but it's nowhere near the most important - what I really want is somebody who wants me the same way I want them, and who has got both their feet in the door ready to have a serious relationship. There's no reason to settle on people who don't give a fuck about you, but I see so many guys get bent out of shape over women and chasing them around just because they're pretty.

I get rejected all the time, and no matter how often I put myself out there, no matter how much I open up, no matter what I do it doesn't work. I wish people would stop telling you to just go and hit on women and everything will be fine. That's not how it works. Women make choices and they can choose to reject a guy for any reason at any time. Women want things from a relationship and many of them are just as afraid, insecure and reluctant to settle as any man is. Life doesn't magically go your way just because you aren't bitter, and you ask girls out.
