Is an anonymous post on 4chan claiming to have visited a massage therapist and paid for a handjob enough evidence for the police to investigate? I looked on LAPD website and there doesn't seem to be an online tip box like there is for the FBI, just a big long form on a seprate tipsubmit website.

OP here, I submitted a tip through another crime reporting website. I researched it a bit and found LAPD does do sting operations to catch this kind of thing, so I'll be checking the news in the next several months.

Just report it. It is up to the police to figure out what to do from there.

Prostitution is illegal in most places, and there are some very good reasons for it. But just because you report it doesn't mean the police will be able to stop it.
